Billing clerks were complaining about SAP’s freight invoicing interface. Reason: Existing invoicing system was bulky, complex and the new-age employees found it harder to use it. We rebuilt the UI from scratch - making it keyboard-friendly, visually harmonious and fast enough to handle hundreds of invoices without friction.
Led complete redesign of SAP’s freight settlement interface, transforming a consultant-dependent legacy system into an intuitive platform that billing clerks actually prefer.
The Business Context
SAP’s Logistics Settlement handles the money side of freight shipping.
When a carrier moves goods, someone needs to calculate what they’re owed versus what was agreed upon. That’s where this system comes in.
The existing application was in for a redesign - we inherited the information architecture from the legacy system and rebuilt the experience from scratch.
